Ivo Skorin, has over 14 years of experience in global airline operations including worldwide relationships with airline staff and executives in Latin America, Europe, the U.S. and Asia.

Before joining Apollo, Ivo was the Director of the West Coast for LAN Cargo Airlines which is a member of LAN Airlines, a major international carrier. While overseeing LAN’s West Coast operations, Ivo was responsible for significant increases in both market share and annual revenue.

His career with LAN has also included the role of Operations Director for the U.S. as well as for Europe. He has overseen large teams of employees exceeding 300 people while undertaking multi-million dollar programs that improved LAN Cargo’s bottom line.

Ivo has also held the position of Operations Director of South America and began his career with LAN as a Senior Manager in the Planning Department, responsible for the coordination of schedule and itineraries of LAN Cargo’s worldwide fleet.

Ivo’s understanding of perishable freight comes directly from his worldwide experiences with LAN Cargo. He oversees a staff that has an equally impressive track record in all aspects of export and import air and ocean transit with a special focus on cold storage and perishable handling. Ivo and his team are bilingual in Spanish and English as well as proficient in other languages.

Ivo is a graduate of the UCLA Anderson School of Management’s Executive Management Program and he holds a Master Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Chile.
